Trip to the Zoo

We took Hunter to the zoo over the weekend and had alot of fun! Nana and her friend John went with us and a great time was had by all. I am sure we will be making this same trip very often in the future as Hunter loved ALL the animals!

Jon was the only one brave enough to let the bird land on him while feeding him nectar.


Hunter was a little interested in seeing what was going on but this was as close as he would get!

Hunter's favorite part of the day was petting and brushing the goats. They were just his size so he wasn't intimidated at all.

This goat decided to relieve himself just before Hunter went over to brush him - so when we told Hunter to "wait!" he decided to check out for himself what was going on!

The only thing Hunter was not allowed to do was ride the goat which he kept asking us if he could do it. I think because the goats were so small he just assumed he could hop on for a ride!

One of the coolest things about the zoo was you could pay to feed a giraffe! It was really neat to see them so upclose.
